Canada Vulnerable Population Map

This is a simple map created using Stats Canada data (2016) to show which Census Tracts represent high proportion of elderly population. The intent is to help any public agency that is looking for a quick way to prioritize certain areas in response to the Covid 19 pandemic.

If some agency is looking to add additional data to this map, we at GINQO will do our best to assist. Please contact us if you think this is useful and need to enrich this visualization further. I do not claim in any way that the census tracts identified are at a higher risk etc. It’s just a simple way to show which areas may be more vulnerable given their demographic makeup.
